Mechanical Engineering, University of Alberta

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada features a traditional and co-operative education undergraduate program and a course-based and research-based graduate program. There are about 700 undergraduate students and more than 250 graduate students. Our Department has enjoyed consistently strong growth in student enrolment and more than 20% increase year-over-year in external research funding. Our professors and researchers are internationally-known experts who serve their communities in the creation and advancement of knowledge as researchers, scientific journal editors, and Fellows of technical and scientific organizations.
