About This Role Reporting to senior IT leadership, the Senior IT Infrastructure and Network Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving enterprise infrastructure environments that support critical business and operational systems. This is a hands-on role requiring deep expertise across Microsoft infrastructure, enterprise networking, virtualization, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and industrial technology environments. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor team members, interface with and present to executive leadership, and help establish best practices through standardization, automation, documentation, and strong engineering discipline. Working closely with technology, engineering, and operational stakeholders, this individual will contribute to both strategic infrastructure initiatives and day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, scalable, and highly available. About the Candidate The ideal candidate is a technically strong infrastructure professional with experience supporting complex enterprise and operational technology environments. They combine deep technical expertise with a practical, solutions-oriented approach and are comfortable balancing hands-on technical work with strategic infrastructure planning and stakeholder collaboration. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Five or more years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical role. Proven experience supporting industrial networks, SCADA systems, or operational technology environments. Hands-on experience delivering infrastructure projects from planning through implementation. Experience with industrial control systems, endpoint security technologies, and cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS will be considered strong assets. Preferred certifications include: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator VMware Certified Professional (VCP) CompTIA Server+ Other relevant infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity certifications Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. A high degree of accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence. A continuous improvement mindset. This role is based in our client’s Metro Vancouver office and follows a hybrid (4 days per week in office) working model. Compensation & Benefits: This role comes with a base salary in the range of CAD $ 105,000–$140,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental coverage, paid vacation, paid sick days, a health and wellness spending account, and a strong corporate culture.
