Job details
← All roles Full-time Senior Software Engineer Boston area; flexible but primarily on-site Full-time We are looking for a senior software engineer to build the software platform through which AI agents understand, configure, execute, and improve physical workflows. You will work across agent orchestration, robot application software, cloud services, and the data systems connecting them. What You Will Do Build agentic systems that turn work instructions, demonstrations, machine information, and sensor data into executable robot workflows. Design orchestration for planning, execution, verification, recovery, and human review under real operating constraints. Build robot application software that coordinates behaviors, tools, machines, and workflow state, then test it against physical systems and production processes. What We Are Looking For Strong software engineering and architecture fundamentals, including experience owning systems beyond an isolated feature. Experience building AI or agentic systems that operate reliably beyond a prototype, with clear approaches to evaluation and failure handling. The ability to debug across models, application software, robot systems, and hardware while making sound decisions under ambiguity. Who this is for Senior software engineers with evidence of shipped systems, strong fundamentals, and the ability to reason about asynchronous, stateful systems where recovery matters.
