The Core Services SRE team ensures robust and reliable software by building and operating self-healing systems that automatically deploy and manage the scaling of core services software, while championing and evangelizing the principles of reliable software and Site Reliability Engineering across the organization. StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States or Canada for this position. What You'll Be Doing: Maintain tooling, libraries, and infrastructure leveraged by all core service teams Develop and maintain infrastructure services that enable engineers to manage, deploy, and scale systems Act as a technical leader, guiding core service teams to design robust and reliable software Propose, design, coordinate, and implement cross-cutting initiatives impacting all of core services, both as an individual contributor and as a technical leader Propose, design, document, and communicate evolving SRE best practices to keep StackAdapt's core service backend maintainable Conduct security reviews for new projects, technologies, and services What You'll Bring to the Table: At least 5 years experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Backend engineering At least 5 years experience with AWS, or other Cloud provider Strong programming, system design, and scripting skills Deep understanding of infrastructure as a code and application/network security Experience setting up complex AWS environments with Terraform Database management experience is a plus Experience with our existing technologies is a strong plus: Terraform, Vault, Nomad, Packer, Vagrant, Boundary, Consul, Waypoint, Redis, Aerospike, Go, ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, RDS, Grafana, Prometheus, Kafka, Envoy, Nginx StackAdapter's Enjoy: Highly competitive salary Retirement/ 401K/ Pension Savings globally Competitive Paid time off packages including birthday's off! Requirements

Requires at least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Backend engineering with strong AWS and Terraform skills. Proficiency in programming, system design, and application security is essential.
