Role: Java Developer with Solace Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid — 3 Days Onsite / Week) Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview Seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong Solace PubSub+ expertise to design, build, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency event-driven microservices for enterprise trading platforms. Key Responsibilities Build event-driven microservices using Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Solace PubSub+. Configure Solace topics, queues, pub/sub messaging, and guaranteed delivery. Optimize JVM tuning, multithreading, and serialization for sub-millisecond execution. Integrate relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL) and caches (Redis/Hazelcast). Deploy microservices on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Must-Have Skills 8+ years of hands-on Java development (Java 8/11/17+, Spring Boot). Hands-on Solace PubSub+ / Solace Messaging and event-driven architecture. Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, JUnit/Mockito, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities. Preferred Skills Banking / Capital Markets / Financial Services domain experience. Exposure to Kafka, IBM MQ, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
