Job summary

Role Summary The Data Analyst supports reporting accuracy, dashboards, and performance analysis across all paid media channels. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on execution—ensuring data is flowing correctly, dashboards reflect real platform performance, and client reporting is accurate and consistent. The Data Analyst works alongside media teams, operations, and other analytics team members to maintain the integrity of the agency’s analytics infrastructure. THIS IS NOT A TRADING OR CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT ROLE. Key Responsibilities Support accuracy of media spend and performance reporting across platforms including Google Ads, GA4, Meta, The Trade Desk, and other paid channels. Validate data and troubleshoot issues to ensure that what clients see matches what platforms report. Identify and flag discrepancies related to attribution, tracking logic, currency, time zones, and API latency. Query and validate data using SQL; work with BigQuery alongside technical team members. Work to develop a clear attribution model taking into account signal loss for conversions and stay abreast of all digital advertising benchmarks and best practices for reporting Data Validation & Reporting Accuracy Dashboards & Data Infrastructure Build, maintain, and update dashboards in custom built app, coordinating with any outside contractors who also build and support dashboards. Ensure all dashboards launch on time and accurately for campaigns. Monitor data pipelines and integrations. Ensure account managers understand the metrics on the dashboards and can utilize all features Client Reporting & Insights Work with Account Management to understand the key metrics for each client and ensure dashboards reflect data in accordance with KPIs Assist in producing clear, client-facing performance reports that explain results and trends. Work to develop automated reporting functionality integrating AI tools with campaign data and reduce the time to produce complex QBRs Translate data into insights and recommendations for media and account teams. Contribute to documentation, QA standards, and reporting best practices. Use modern tools (including AI tools) to improve analysis, QA, and efficiency. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on performance media analytics experience (agency or in-house). Previous digital ad agency or consulting experience. Strong understanding of paid media platforms and performance metrics. Proficiency in reporting across 2–3 core ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, The Trade Desk); willingness to learn others. Experience with dashboard tools such as Tableau or Looker or Datorama (creation or management). SQL experience required; BigQuery experience a plus. Comfortable diagnosing data issues and working through discrepancies. Experience collaborating with technical partners or data engineers. Experience with BigQuery and cloud-based data warehousing. Familiarity with API-based reporting and data pipeline monitoring. Comfort with AI tools for analysis and QA workflows.
