Senior Salesforce Developer Pay Rate: Up to $80/hour, depending on experience End Date: March 31, 2027 (possibility of extension) Location: Remote, anywhere in Canada working Mountain Time business hours Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable. Description Our client is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to support the migration of a custom integrated workflow between Salesforce and DocuSign. In this role, you will refactor backend Apex code and data models, modernize legacy SOAP integrations into REST, and ensure reliable data flow between Salesforce and external platforms. You will play a key role in testing and deployment readiness ahead of code-freeze deadlines. Responsibilities Backend Apex and Data Model Refactoring: Update and optimize enterprise-grade Apex classes, triggers, and batch jobs to remap legacy managed package objects and fields to the new target framework on a like-for-like basis. API Modernization: Refactor legacy custom SOAP API callouts and authentication mechanisms into modern, high-performing REST integrations using Salesforce Named Credentials. Data Flow and Webhook Synchronization: Maintain and validate bi-directional data flow, payload parsing (JSON/XML), and event and status listeners between external platforms and Salesforce. Automated Testing: Develop robust Apex test classes and HTTP mock callouts to ensure high code coverage. Deployment Readiness: Validate end-to-end integration flows in sandbox environments and support deployment ahead of code-freeze deadlines. Qualifications Senior-level Salesforce development experience with a deep focus on custom backend integrations, Apex architecture, and REST web services. Strong hands-on Salesforce Apex coding experience, including classes, triggers, and batch jobs. Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC). Proven experience in REST API development, including migrating SOAP integrations to REST. Experience with Salesforce Named Credentials and integration authentication. Experience parsing JSON and XML payloads and supporting bi-directional integrations. Strong experience writing Apex test classes and HTTP mock callouts. Candidates should have experience migrating SOAP integrations to REST, using Named Credentials, parsing JSON and XML, supporting bidirectional integrations, and writing Apex tests with HTTP mocks; DocuSign experience is an asset.
