We’re looking for an IT Helpdesk Co-op to join our team based in the in Chester St and Kingsway St offices in Vancouver, BC. This individual will report to the IT Operations Manager. Job Overview: The IT Helpdesk Co-op will support the day-to-day technology needs of our employees while gaining hands-on experience across a range of IT operations. This on-site position provides practical exposure to technical support, device management, user account administration, and technology projects. The successful candidate will work closely with team members across the business, helping resolve technology issues and contributing to a positive employee experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills while supporting a vertically integrated business spanning manufacturing, retail, distribution, and corporate operations. You will have the opportunity to: Provide first-level support for technology-related questions and issues. Assist employees with hardware, software, and basic system troubleshooting. Support the setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, tablets, and other devices. Help maintain inventory and records of IT equipment and technology assets. Assist with user account creation, updates, and access requests. Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees. Participate in software testing and technology improvement initiatives. Document troubleshooting steps, actions taken, blockers and resolutions within the help desk ticketing system. Document processes and create user-friendly technology guides. You will be a good fit if you: Are enrolled in a post-secondary program such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Technology Management, or a related field. Are enrolled in a Co-op program. Have a strong interest in technology and enjoy solving problems. Have experience using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and common business applications. Can learn new systems and technologies quickly. Have strong communication and customer service skills. Are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
