Job summary

Software QA Analyst (CO-OP 4-Month Term) Price industries Limited is seeking a Software QA Analyst CO-OP Summer Student from September to December within our Sales Technology Department. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze business and system requirements to ensure testability Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans (Manual and Automated) Identify, document, and track bugs/defects using defect management tools Perform different types of testing such as: • Functional testing • Regression/Smoke testing • Integration testing • Performance, load and usability testing Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing and regression testing Maintain test documentation, reports, and execution logs Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices Education Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related studies. Bonus to have: Prior experience or exposure in any of the following areas: Angular, React.js, C#, .NET, .NET Core, Java, Claude, GitHub, JavaScript Postman, Azure DevOps, TestRail, JIRA, VS Code, Visual Studio, Database Applications: PostgreSQL , Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL

Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering program. Familiarity with testing tools, programming languages like C# or Java, and database management is considered a bonus.
