Job summary
We are looking for an Senior Avionics Systems Engineer - Open IMA Platform for a hybrid role in Montreal, Quebec. This role requires 2 days in office. Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000 CAD Experience: 12 - 20+ years Only Job Description Must-have skills: - 12-20+ years of avionics systems engineering experience - Direct hands-on experience in Open IMA / IMA platform development, integration, and certification - Experience on commercial, business jet, military, or advanced air mobility aircraft programs - Experience with FAA, EASA, or TCCA certification programs - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering - Experience defining and maintaining Open IMA system architectures - Experience with hosted applications in partitioned computing environments - Experience with IMA platform integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and verification - Working knowledge of DO-297, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, ARP4761A, and DO-160 - Experience managing system interfaces and interface control documentation
