Job summary
Cloud Full Stack Developer Remote within Canada Opterron is looking for an experienced software engineer who enjoys solving difficult technical problems, working directly with clients, and turning business requirements into dependable software. You will help design, build, and deploy scalable cloud applications. The work can begin with discovery and architecture, continue through implementation and testing, and extend into deployment and operational support. This is a remote consulting role with varied assignments. You should be comfortable moving between technical depth and practical client conversations while maintaining a clear view of delivery constraints and business priorities. What You Will Do Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications used in real operating environments. Build full stack solutions with modern languages, frameworks, and engineering practices. Work with clients to understand business requirements and turn them into clear technical designs. Contribute to architecture decisions, estimates, delivery plans, and technical reviews. Build and operate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Use AI-assisted development tools and coding agents thoughtfully to improve delivery and software quality. Collaborate with business, product, design, infrastructure, and engineering participants. Support infrastructure, deployment, and DevOps work in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments. What We Are Looking For At least five years of professional software development experience. A strong full stack background with production applications you can discuss in detail. Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or a combination of these platforms. Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or coding agents. Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and their surrounding ecosystems. Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployment. Clear communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and stakeholders. Sound technical judgment, including the ability to balance maintainability, delivery constraints, risk, and business value.
