Job summary
Novarc Technologies is a full-stack robotics company helping to build the world using applied robotics and AI. Recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in the Americas by the Financial Times for two consecutive years, we are at the epicenter of innovation and global expansion. Join our dynamic team as we extend our reach across four continents, blending pioneering welding technology with a profound global impact. It's a captivating time to be part of our journey – here, you'll do more than just work; you'll be an integral part of a movement shaping a tech-driven future. Novarc Technologies is looking for a seasoned Full Stack Software Developer to implement cloud-based dashboards and development of our core product features. Summary: As a Full Stack Software Developer you won't just be writing code; you will be designing robust, high-performance systems that are built to last. You understand that "done" doesn't just mean the code runs—it means the code is tested, documented, and ready for a professional release. Duties and Responsibilities: * Architect & Design: Take ownership of complex system architectures, ensuring scalability and high performance using React and TypeScript. * Build and maintain: Develop modern, responsive dashboard and contribute to UI/UX improvements with a focus on usability and clean design. * Third-Party Integration: Incorporate external APIs, third-party tools, and cloud platforms like AWS while refining for top-tier security, scalability, and efficiency. * Ship Quality: Apply your experience in shipping "shrink-wrapped" or commercial-grade software to ensure our releases are stable, polished, and reliable. * Practice Agile Principles: Participate in and refine our Agile processes, helping the team balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural integrity. * Champion Testing: Integrate rigorous automated testing and CI/CD patterns into the development lifecycle. You believe that if it isn’t tested, it’s broken. * Security-First Mindset: Deep understanding of web application security principles, including mitigating OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, secure API design, and implementing robust authentication (OAuth, JWT). Minimum Qualifications and Experience: * Experience: 8+ years of professional web application development experience, with a track record of shipping commercial-grade products. * Frontend Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). * Backend Expertise: Strong experience with Node.js, and a solid understanding of RESTful API design. * Database Fundamentals: Strong experience working with SQL databases and managing large datasets. * Engineering Standards: Deep proficiency in unit testing, debugging production-level software, and modern Agile practices. Bonus Points (Nice to Have): * Experience with Golang for building high-concurrency web application backend. * Familiarity with Python. * Experience with memory-safe programming, conducting security audits, and mitigating common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF). * Understanding of advanced state management (e.g., Redux data flows). * Experience with cloud-based architectures, including SaaS and PaaS.
