A career as a data engineering developer in the modelling and risk strategies team at National Bank means serving as a data analytics specialist. This position allows you to have a direct impact on transforming the organisation's analytical capabilities thanks to your expertise in data engineering, data integration, data architecture and optimisation of analytical environments. Your job Responsible for exposing modelling and risk strategies, collection and recovery data in the Bank's target analytical environment, from ingestion to implementation Implement data quality monitoring solutions, optimise SQL and spark tasks to improve data processing and implement performance indicators related to data analysis Influence the business lines in organising and presenting data and participating in data strategy Help identify and document authoritative data sources that meet the needs of our business lines Design, automate and implement real-time data integration solutions that meet the needs of the sector, in accordance with Bank best practises Determine data analysis infrastructure needs and develop the technological environment accordingly. Your team In the risk modelling and strategies, Collection and Recovery sector, you will be part of a unit responsible for transforming the sector and reporting to the Senior Manager – Data and Decision-making Tools. Prerequisites Relevant training such as data science, statistics, computer science, economics or mathematics, as well as 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering Experience in data design, management, transformation and modelling, including approaches such as data vault or dimensional modelling Experience in manipulating and processing big data Proficiency in at least one of the following data languages or technologies: SQL, Python, Spark or SAS Experience with development and delivery cycle management tools such as Jira, Jenkins or GIT. Knowledge of a cloud data warehouse such as snowflake.
