Job summary
We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist with strong Kubernetes expertise to manage, support, and optimize containerized applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying, scaling, maintaining, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters across both on-premises and public cloud environments, along with a strong understanding of cloud and bare-metal infrastructure. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, an automation-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development and infrastructure teams in a fast-paced technical environment. Responsibilities Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and availability of Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment and infrastructure changes Diagnose and resolve issues related to Kubernetes, Docker, networking, storage, and container orchestration Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable, reliable, and highly available solutions Implement and maintain security best practices within Kubernetes environments Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools such as Terraform and Ansible Perform regular system audits, upgrades, patching, capacity planning, and performance tuning Develop and maintain technical documentation for Kubernetes environments, configurations, procedures, and operational processes Evaluate new Kubernetes capabilities, technologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve the environment Support both cloud-based and bare-metal infrastructure supporting containerized workloads Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies Minimum three years of experience working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes within both cloud and on-premises environments Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, storage, and Linux-based systems Proficiency with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar technologies Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced technical environment Nice-to-Have Certifications CNCF Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert ,
