MVT Canadian Bus, Inc., a subsidiary of MV Transportation Inc., began operations in Canada in 2009 in Vancouver providing HandyDart services. In January 2012 para-transit operations commenced in St. John's, Newfoundland providing Go Bus services and July 2015 fixed route and para-transit operations commenced in Barrie, Ontario providing Barrie Transit services as part of a 20 year operating contract. The IT Manager is responsible for managing all technology-based systems, hardware, and software used in the operation of Barrie Transit services. This includes maintaining network infrastructure, providing user support, and planning for future technology development.
