We are recruiting an experienced Systems Engineer - Engine to join our team to support our client in the automotive industry. NOTE: 100% onsite position in Windsor, ON RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide strategic and technical leadership in the area of developing engine & hybrid control system strategies Technical project deliverables, coordinating activities and bringing projects to successful conclusions REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, Applied Physics, or any other relevant STEM oriented degree from an accredited university 1-5 years of total experience in engine system controls/calibration development (propulsion system control and/or calibration experience) experienced in engine controls, hybrid controls, engine systems development, calibration and FE/emissions testing Demonstrated technical leadership on propulsion system control and calibration development projects Demonstrated knowledge of internal combustion engine physics, engine regulatory requirements and engine OBD Demonstrated ability in control algorithm development methods Strong team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience & expertise, and willing to work in fast paced environment Effective experienced based or analytical problem solving ability Outstanding interpersonal skills and teamwork Demonstrated potential to teach, lead and inspire COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $33.00 - $37.00/ hour (depending on experience) Paid Benefits after 90 days (individual and family) – extended medical, out-of-country coverage, dental etc. Pension eligibility, with employer match, after 1 full year of work MEDA offers an excellent referral bonus. Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 1-5 years of experience in engine system controls and calibration. Must have demonstrated knowledge of internal combustion engine physics and regulatory requirements.
