As a Master Data Analyst, you will play an integral role in developing reports, analyzing business performance, identifying trends and transforming data into actionable insights for stakeholders across Procurement, Design, Sales, Construction and Finance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data and communicating insights that help drive business performance. What you’ll do * Prepare, analyze and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports for stakeholders across Procurement, Design, Finance, Sales and Construction. * Develop and enhance dashboards, reporting tools and analytical models that improve visibility into business performance and trends. * Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality and business processes. * Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations. * Manage reporting requests and priorities in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Data Management. What you bring * University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology or a related discipline. * 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, data management or a related field. * Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills. * Understanding of Master Data Management principles. * Ability to analyze large and complex datasets. * Ability to perform root-cause analysis and identify trends. * Experience with ERP and enterprise systems, such as JDE, or data platforms, such as SQL Server or a data lake. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Bonus points * Completed or in progress Finance or Accounting designation (e.g. CPA, CFA) * Experience with OneStream; data management platforms such as Collibra, Informatica, Talend or Azure; and database design concepts and data modelling fundamentals. * Experience managing key master data domains, such as vendors and suppliers, products, and projects or jobs. * Experience with PowerBI Compensation The expected base salary range for this position is $57,000 - $87,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. Requirements
Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant discipline and at least 3 years of experience in data analytics or management. Proficiency in Excel and an understanding of Master Data Management principles are required, with experience in ERP systems or data platforms considered an asset.
