We're looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer who can combine deep technical expertise with business insight to help drive our cloud transformation journey. In this role, you'll design, build, automate, and optimize cloud platforms while partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Design, develop, and implement cloud-based applications and infrastructure solutions. * Build and maintain cloud environments that align with security and operational standards. * Automate and orchestrate cloud platforms using modern DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices. * Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and integration solutions across enterprise platforms. * Support application deployment, troubleshooting, testing, and continuous integration activities. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to drive rapid delivery and innovation. * Research and implement emerging technologies to improve platform performance and engineering efficiency. * Lead cloud engineering best practices and mentor team members on cloud adoption and modernization initiatives. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), and Terraform. * Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and BOSH CLI. * Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development practices. * Hands-on experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, web services, and cloud-native applications. * Familiarity with modern platform technologies including API Gateways, Messaging, Event Streaming, Distributed Tracing, SQL, and Document Databases. * Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business teams. NICE TO HAVE * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. * 8+ years of IT experience, including cloud engineering and distributed systems design. * Experience with public, private, or hybrid cloud environments. * Kubernetes and/or HashiCorp certifications. * Experience delivering enterprise-scale PaaS solutions, particularly using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). * Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Desired State Configuration, and cloud platform automation. Referenced Salary Location CAN, Ontario, Toronto, 200 Bloor Street East Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
