Python Developer – Cybersecurity Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Day 1 onboarding onsite, with 3 days/week in office Mission Description We are looking for an Intermediate Python Developer to join a growing Cryptography and Secrets Management squad within a global cybersecurity organization. The team operates across North America, Europe, and India and follows a build-and-run model focused on ownership, independence, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will design and implement new cybersecurity features, integrations, tooling, automation, and testing solutions while helping improve the resiliency, reliability, and operational efficiency of cybersecurity services. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Python-based integrations with Enterprise HSM and Key Management Solutions. Build tooling, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to support cybersecurity analysis, remediation, and operational enablement. Contribute to DevSecOps and service delivery activities, including CI/CD pipelines and automation. Develop and maintain testing frameworks and test suites to ensure reliability, quality, and security. Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to incident resolution and continuous improvement. Collaborate with the squad and broader Technology stakeholders while participating in design discussions, code reviews, and adherence to architectural standards. Qualifications 4+ years of Python development experience in an enterprise or industrial environment, with strong knowledge of libraries such as requests, json, logging, argparse, subprocess, pandas, and pytest. 2+ years of hands-on Bash/Shell scripting experience, with strong experience working in Linux environments. Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, with a solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS. Experience with Git and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Understanding of vulnerability management, remediation workflows, secure software development, and cybersecurity practices such as encryption, secrets management, authentication/authorization, and PKI. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Thales Luna HSM / Luna Client, PKCS#11, or enterprise cryptographic services. Experience with Thales CipherTrust Manager or other enterprise Key Management Solutions. Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes. Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or other observability technologies. Familiarity with SLOs, incident response, observability engineering, and reliability best practices.
