Software Development Manager (DevOps)

- We’re looking for an Software Development Manager to lead our DevOps team as we scale infrastructure across multiple regions and push toward continuous deployment. You’ll own the platform engineering function — developer experience, infrastructure reliability, and the systems that let MaintainX move fast without breaking things - Lead a team of platform and DevOps software developers: set direction, remove blockers, and develop talent - Own the DevOps roadmap, balancing developer experience improvements, platform efficiency, and infrastructure reliability - Partner with product engineering teams to build the tooling and self-service capabilities that let them own their deployments - Partner with the security team to ensure compliance across our environments, and to offer a safe and secure platform upon which the development teams can thrive - Drive infrastructure strategy across cloud, container orchestration, CI/CD, and observability - Hire, onboard, and grow a high-performing team - Provide clear visibility into team progress, risks, and outcomes to engineering leadership ### Benefits - Flexible time off - Competitive salary and equity opportunities - Comprehensive healthcare coverage - Training and development investments- Strong communicator who can translate infrastructure complexity for product and business stakeholders - Proven ability to hire and build high-performing technical teams - 4+ years of Software Development management experience with a background in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering - Track record of measurably improving developer experience and platform reliability at scale - You’ve shipped production infrastructure, understand cloud-native systems, and can engage on hard technical problems with your team - Comfortable leading teams that use AI-assisted development tools as a core part of their workflow - Hands-on experience with multi-region environments, infrastructure as code, and modern CI/CD platforms - Experience scaling a DevOps function in a fast-growth SaaS environment - Familiarity with compliance-driven infrastructure (SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO270001 or similar)
