About The Opportunity An excellent client of ours, a well-renowned organization headquartered in Ottawa, is seeking a Manager, IT & Cybersecurity Services to oversee our daily technology operations, cloud and on-premises environments, and cybersecurity program. Reporting to the IT Director, you will bridge strategic vision with operational execution - leading an IT team, managing service delivery, and driving modern tech initiatives. Duties include but are not limited to: Team & Service Operations: Lead the IT team and Service Desk operations to ensure high service availability, clear goal-setting, and continuous staff development Cybersecurity & Governance: Maintain and evolve the corporate cybersecurity program, leveraging frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and Zero-Trust architecture Infrastructure & Change Management: Oversee hybrid cloud/on-prem environments and manage ITIL Change Management processes for system reliability Strategy & Innovation: Provide guidance on Enterprise Architecture, SDLC practices, and the safe implementation of emerging AI technologies About You The successful candidate will have the following: Experience: 4+ years in IT leadership, managing technical staff, Service Desk operations, and cybersecurity programs Technical Expertise: Extensive technical background in the entire Microsoft 365 stack (SharePoint, Teams, Purview, etc.), network architecture, cloud infrastructure, SDLC, and modern IT security standards Vendor Leadership: Demonstrated track record managing external MSPs and vendor relationships Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience Soft Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; strong stakeholder management About the Job Salary is commensurate of experience, $100,000 to $130,000, and is in addition to a government pension program, a generous PTO and benefits package, etc. Location: Hybrid; Downtown Ottawa Clearance: Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance required Language: Bilingual (English & French) required LROIT How To Apply Please apply by clicking the “Apply Now” button below and follow the instructions to submit your résumé. Requirements
Requires at least four years of IT leadership experience managing technical staff, Service Desk operations, and cybersecurity programs, along with extensive expertise in Microsoft 365, networking, cloud infrastructure, SDLC, and modern security standards. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, or equivalent experience, is required; experience managing MSPs and vendors, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, and eligibility for Secret Security Clearance are also specified.
