Position: Technology Logistics Support Associate (IT Helpdesk / Operations) Location: Onsite- Calgary, AB Job type: Full-time/Permanent hiring We are seeking a Junior Technology Logistics Support Associate to provide critical, day-to-day technical infrastructure and systems support within our high-volume distribution networks. In this role, you will serve as the principal first point of contact for Distribution Center (DC) and Fulfillment Center (FC) teams, managing Level-1 and Level-2 technical troubleshooting for walk-up requests and ticket logs. You will install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 endpoints and Microsoft 365 profiles, monitor server-room data center alarms, troubleshoot local Wi-Fi and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) dependencies, and manage third-party vendor coordination and technology asset lifecycle inventory tracking. Key Responsibilities: Deliver Local Warehouse IT Support: Provide immediate, hands-on technical support for local hardware, radio terminals, and logistical systems within the distribution center workspace. Resolve Helpdesk Incidents: Accept, categorize, diagnose, and resolve Level-1 and Level-2 technical ticket logs and walk-up service queries within target SLA parameters. Manage Windows & M365 Setups: Install, configure, update, and maintain corporate endpoint laptops running Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 application suites. Monitor Data Center Alarms: Track server-room infrastructure warning lights and environmental monitoring systems, logging and escalating issues to global engineering squads. Troubleshoot Local Connectivity: Isolate and resolve local wireless network drops, warehouse Wi-Fi coverage issues, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) session freezes. Coordinate Vendor Maintenance: Interface directly with third-party service vendors, global technology teams, and internal operations leads to oversee equipment repairs. Govern Asset Inventories: Track hardware lifecycles, run asset inventory updates, log newly provisioned equipment, and retire obsolete hardware assets. Support Scheduled Outages: Assist system engineers during planned network upgrades, infrastructure reboots, server updates, and continuous platform optimization windows. Required Skills: Primary: IT Helpdesk Administration, Level-1/2 Technical Support, Local Desktop Administration (Windows 10/11), Hardware Inventory Tracking, Logistics Environment Support. Tools/Frameworks: Microsoft 365, Ticketing Systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management), Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Printer Management Utilities. Database/Cloud: Active Directory basic account tasks, Enterprise Wireless Networks (Wi-Fi), Data Center monitoring consoles, PC Imaging setups. Nice-to-Have: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications, ITIL Foundation knowledge, Experience supporting barcode scanners, thermal printers, or mobile warehouse terminal hardware.
