Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer with extensive experience in building large-scale, multi-client web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, modern front-end frameworks, API development, and micro services architecture, along with strong experience in cloud and DevOps environments. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications Develop and manage data pipelines (ETL processes) Translate technical specifications into functional, tested applications Write clean, maintainable code and perform unit testing Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and system defects Collaborate across teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Develop and integrate RESTful APIs Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security standards Participate in deployment, migration, and post-implementation support Core Technical Requirements (Must Have) 10+ years experience in full-stack development for large-scale applications 10+ years hands-on experience with Java + Oracle/SQL databases 5+ years experience with: REST APIs React, TypeScript HTML5, CSS3 Node.js Experience with RxJS, Next.js, Vue.js Strong knowledge of micro services architecture Experience with Azure DevOps Experience with responsive web development Knowledge of architecture styles (event-driven, reactive, message-based) Technical Skills (Preferred) Security: JWT, OAuth2.0, SSL Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong understanding of: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Design patterns, clean code, refactoring Experience with: WebLogic / Tomcat / Java web applications SOAP & REST services Oracle / SQL Server databases Exposure to: Blockchain & Solidity (nice to have) Middleware & integration gateways Requirements Front-End & UI Expertise Strong experience with Angular / JavaScript frameworks Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript Ability to design responsive and accessible UI (WCAG, AODA) Experience integrating UI with backend APIs Understanding of UX/UI principles DevOps & Tools Azure DevOps JIRA CI/CD pipelines Agile delivery environments Soft Skills Strong communication & stakeholder management Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments Proven team collaboration in large programs Nice to Have Previous Ontario Public Service (OPS) / Public Sector experience Knowledge of AODA compliance standards Experience in RAD methodologies

Requirements

Requires 10+ years of full-stack development experience, including hands-on Java and Oracle/SQL database experience, plus at least five years with REST APIs, React, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, and Node.js. Candidates should also have experience with microservices, Azure DevOps, responsive and accessible UI development, and relevant architecture patterns; public-sector experience and blockchain knowledge are advantageous.
