Position: Salesforce DevOps Engineer Employment Type: Long term Location: Toronto, ON Hybrid : 4 days office , 1 day work from home Client : Banking Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing team responsible for managing Salesforce platform releases, CI/CD automation, source control governance, and deployment processes across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building and managing Salesforce DevOps pipelines, supporting Agile delivery teams, coordinating release activities, and ensuring reliable deployments across multiple Salesforce environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines. Manage source control repositories and branching strategies using Git-based platforms. Automate Salesforce deployments using modern DevOps tools and frameworks. Lead release planning, deployment execution, rollback planning, and post-deployment validation. Raise and manage change requests through ITSM platforms (ServiceNow preferred). Participate in CAB meetings and release governance activities. Coordinate with Development, QA, Product, and Business teams during release cycles. Manage Salesforce environments, sandbox strategies, and refresh activities. Troubleshoot deployment failures and resolve environment-related issues. Drive DevOps best practices, automation, compliance, and release efficiency.
