Position: Data Engineer Tech Lead Toronto: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid, 3 days onsite in a week) Insurance domain is mandatory Must have skills5-8 years SQL & Python; cloud data platform experience (Snowflake highly preferred) ETL/ELT pipeline development at enterprise scale Experience with Stored procedures, task, dbt Data warehouse design, data modelling, workflow orchestration (Airflow or equivalent) Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Clear communicator; effective cross-functional collaborator, must work effectively with Data Architects, Analysts, and business stakeholders across a large program

What you’ll do

Requirements

Requires 5–8 years of experience with SQL and Python, cloud data platforms, and enterprise-scale ETL/ELT development; insurance domain experience is mandatory. Candidates should have experience with data warehousing and orchestration tools such as Airflow, along with strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
