Title: Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure (Banking Domain) Location - Canada Remote Type: Fulltime Experience: 10+ Years We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure within the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), Azure Functions, Event Hubs, AKS, Azure DevOps, and Azure API Management. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable data and integration platforms, modernizing legacy banking applications, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. Experience integrating Azure solutions with core banking platforms such as Temenos, Infosys Finacle, Finastra, FIS, Fiserv, Oracle FLEXCUBE, TCS BaNCS, Backbase, or Mambu is highly preferred. Key responsibilities include developing ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, and Kafka, implementing secure cloud architectures, supporting payments and lending systems, and enabling real-time data integration for AML/KYC, fraud detection, regulatory reporting, and digital banking services. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of banking processes, including retail banking, commercial banking, payments (SWIFT, ACH, ISO 20022), lending, risk management, and compliance, while collaborating with business, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solution

The candidate will be responsible for building scalable data and integration platforms, modernizing legacy banking applications, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing ETL/ELT pipelines and implementing secure cloud architectures.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with various Azure services and experience integrating Azure solutions with core banking platforms. Strong knowledge of banking processes and collaboration with business and engineering teams is also required.
