Job Description Insight Global is seeking an RDL Jump Host Administrator to support secure access and system administration functions within highly controlled Research & Development Lab (RDL) environments. This individual will be responsible for managing Linux-based jump hosts that serve as secure access points into isolated engineering networks supporting globally distributed design teams. On a day-to-day basis, the Jump Host Administrator will provision and maintain Linux systems, manage user authentication and access controls, administer SSH and PAM configurations, support Zscaler and CyberArk integrations, and maintain audit logging and compliance controls related to export-controlled environments. The individual will also troubleshoot access issues, maintain security hardening standards, support compliance audits, and work closely with network and security teams to ensure secure access into lab environments. This position requires a strong Linux administrator with experience supporting regulated environments, implementing security controls, and maintaining highly secure access management systems. Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of Linux System Administration experience SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) administration experience Experience supporting Linux operating systems such as: Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Experience administering: User accounts, SSH access Local authentication, RBAC permissions Experience with Linux security hardening and system administration Experience implementing logging and auditing solutions Experience with: Syslog, Rsyslog, Journald, Similar auditing platforms Experience managing secure access and authentication controls Experience working in regulated, secure, or compliance-driven environments Experience supporting VMware or Hyper-V virtual environments Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities Ability to work cross-functionally with infrastructure and security teams Nice to Have Skills & Experience Zscaler ZTNA or App Connector experience CyberArk PAM/vPAM experience CIS hardening experience PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) administration MFA implementation experience SSH ForceCommand or advanced SSH configuration experience Export-controlled or ITAR-controlled environment experience Experience supporting air-gapped environments Security+, Linux+, or cybersecurity certifications Experience supporting compliance audits and security reviews Compensation: $40-45/h Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
