Software Developer - Intermediate Toronto, ON Long-term Contract Onsite Must Have: 5+ years of experience as a designer and developer in the large-scale multi-client web applications 5+ year of hands-on working experience of Java development with Oracle or SQL database 2+ years of hands-on experience of RestAPI, RESTful WebServices Experience using Azure DevOps Desirable Skills • Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications • Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices • Experience with middleware and gateways • Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging • Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues • Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team • Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards • Ability to provide user and system documentation as required Additional Skills for Oracle Software Developer: • Experience in conducting impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions. • Strong conversion experience in Account Receivable Collection modules • Strong programming skills in Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripts and Oracle Data Integrator • Proved business knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable and Inventory Modules of Oracle E-Business • Great knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structure related to GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV and FND • Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and using partition tables • Demonstrated experience and understanding of data warehouse, ETL methodologies and OBIEE • Demonstrated work experience on Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) will be a great asset • Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities to be able to oversee the quality assurance of the project from technical perspective

Requirements

Must have at least five years of experience designing and developing large-scale web applications, five years of hands-on Java development with Oracle or SQL databases, and two years of REST API or RESTful web services experience. Azure DevOps experience is required; additional Oracle E-Business, PL/SQL, data warehousing, ETL, and communication experience is desirable.
