Job summary

Summary/Scope of Position: The Sr. System Test Engineer will be responsible for testing our client control system solutions. This position is involved in all phases of a product lifecycle: requirements gathering, embedded software design, implementation, and maintenance. The deliverables from this ongoing project are a highly adaptable, sustainable automation infrastructure capable of supporting numerous test areas. The candidate will be required to develop and implement testing for our client's Control System components. The candidate will identify and implement test automation. Additionally, maintaining and enhance existing automation frameworks. Responsibilities Conduct Control System testing, including test case development and implementation. Conduct requirements analysis, test coverage, and traceability. Perform test automation investigations, reporting on problems encountered and documenting results for follow-up. Develops automated software and product test procedures to requirements. Provides input into the design and implementation of system testing. Performs reviews of automation plans. Experienced in Agile and SDLC. Education Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with concentration in software; or equivalent knowledge in the areas of Embedded Software Engineering and control Systems. (Requirements analysis, embedded software design and testing. Test automation). Experience Requirements: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in test automation and control system testing, Minimum 7 years’ experience with LabVIEW. In-depth knowledge of software test and automation methodologies required. Experience in the development of test automation solutions. Experience with common software programming languages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
