The Role As an IT Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day office activities related to normal everyday computers and network usage for the office and remote users. Additionally, routine activities related to the on- and off-boarding process of StickerYou employees. What You Will Do IT Operations Assist with installing and configuring software on the company’s computers Provision computers and other computer devices Maintain peripheral computer devices including but not limited to monitors, printers, user input devices, modems, adapters, IP phones, etc. Connect shared network devices like printers, drives, IP phones, etc Configure remote access, VPN, Wi-Fi on company’s computers and mobile devices Maintain inventory of computer hardware and software Maintain documentation of the local network and related information (how-to documents) Procure computer hardware and software on demand Monitor and help implement the company's security, backup, and antivirus protection policies IT Infrastructure Management Develop and implement information security, remote access, and data protection policies Research, procure, provision, configure and support specialized and/or expensive shared IT infrastructure hardware and software like high-end servers, network equipment, security devices, server room equipment, etc. Continuously and proactively monitor states of all business critical infrastructure elements, and develop and execute action plans in case of service disruptions or disasters Develop, implement and monitor an IT infrastructure disaster recovery plan Research, procure and maintain relations with third party IT service providers, like Internet, IP Phones, etc. Manage advanced network services including but not limited to public and private DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi infrastructure, File sharing, network printers, network security (firewalls), centralized backups, data protection and antivirus protection Manage and monitor Windows domain, Active directory and related Windows network services Manage Hyper-V Virtual platform and corresponding virtual machines Manage and monitor hosted IaaS implementations related to StickerYou public and private hosted software solutions Develop, implement and utilize continuous IT infrastructure monitoring and alerting. Production Analytics Provide day-to-day technical support for production software, computers, equipment connectivity, scanners, and related systems. Troubleshoot production system issues and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to minimize downtime. Support production applications including ONYX, Zund Cut Center (ZCC), Hybrid, Rasterlink and other manufacturing systems. Assist in Workflow and production analysis leading to understanding inefficiencies/ bottlenecks and research/create opportunities for workflow automation Maintain and carry out periodic audits of production software and IT infrastructure to ensure minimal operational downtime Support integrations between production equipment, software, databases, and internal business systems. Develop user stories for workflow automation for production cost centers and be single point of contact with the Dev team Work closely with the Dev team and assist in upkeep/operations of IT/Software related to production cost centers Maintain system documentation, troubleshooting procedures, configurations, and issue logs. Collaborate with Product/Data Analyst for requirement generation of production analytics/reports Participate in implementation, testing, and rollout of new production systems, equipment, and automation technologies. Work on specific projects related to new installation, process improvements, cost reduction and waste management Any other production tasks as assigned on case-to-case basis Requirements Post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field with minimum 1-3 years of experience in IT System Administrator role with IT Support background. Knowledge of IT management software tools, networking, operating system and server architectures Highly effective verbal and written communication skills; You are motivated by a desire to provide excellent service; and You are self-directed and comfortable taking initiative to get things done.
