Location: Toronto, Calgary, or Edmonton (Hybrid) We are looking for a hands-on Senior Cloud-Native Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and support secure, scalable applications on Microsoft Azure. This role combines modern full-stack development, cloud engineering, DevOps automation, and platform governance. You will work with technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js/Python/.NET, Azure, Terraform/Bicep, and GitHub Actions to deliver enterprise-grade solutions while helping establish engineering standards and best practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications, APIs, and cloud-native services. Build responsive front-end solutions using React and TypeScript. Develop backend services using Node.js, Python, .NET, or Java. Design and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and/or Bicep. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. Implement secure coding, cloud security, and DevSecOps practices. Contribute to reusable frameworks, coding standards, and development best practices. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support. Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers. Required Qualifications 8+ years of Full Stack Development experience. Strong expertise in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with Node.js, Python, .NET, or Java. Strong Microsoft Azure development and cloud engineering experience. Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Bicep. Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern cloud-native architectures. Strong understanding of security best practices, RBAC, identity management, and secure SDLC. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault. Microsoft Entra ID and cloud security controls. PowerShell scripting and automation. Microservices and event-driven architecture. Experience with AI-assisted software development tools.
