We rethink traditional venture and debt financing by providing fit-for-purpose capital that helps studios grow without giving up equity. We're a small fintech team of industry veterans, AI-first, with a Toronto HQ, a global team and global clients. We're seeking a hungry, AI-native engineer, junior or mid-level, who wants to own features end to end and help build the future of UA finance. What You'll Do GrowCap runs on a fully custom tech stack, built in-house, with a growing set of products and services on top of it. You'll take ownership of existing workloads and build new solutions and integrations as we scale. Build: Own features end to end, from first spec to production Build with AI agents every day: write, test and refactor faster than a traditional team Create new integrations as our product and services offering grows Operate: Take ownership of existing workloads and keep them running Brute-force hard problems until they're solved, across code you didn't write Work directly with the team to turn business needs into shipped tools What We Need You're hungry, AI-native and eager to learn and grow. You'd rather try ten things and find the one that works than wait for a perfect plan, and you finish what you start. Software Engineer Experience Junior or mid-level engineer; a degree, bootcamp or a strong portfolio of shipped projects all count Based in Toronto and able to work in office Must have: You build with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor or similar) every day High ownership, startup mentality; you drive work to completion and ask for help when you get stuck Something you've built and shipped that people actually use Ready to start immediately Nice to have: Fintech, ad tech or mobile gaming interest Experience integrating third-party APIs and data sources Why This Role We're expanding the team to cover more ground and continue to scale operations. You'll level up your skills fast, working on a custom stack alongside industry veterans with AI at the center of how we build. Requirements

The role is for a junior or mid-level engineer with a degree, bootcamp training, or a strong portfolio of shipped projects; candidates must be based in Toronto and able to work in office. Applicants must use AI coding agents regularly, demonstrate ownership and follow-through, have shipped something people use, and be ready to start immediately.
