Role: Senior Pega Constellation Developer Location – Mississauga, ON Work mode Hybrid(3 days office per week) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pega Constellation Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing complex business applications using the Pega platform, with a specialized focus on the Constellation design system. This role requires deep expertise in workflow automation, case management, and heavy integration with external systems. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of modern, scalable, and user-friendly applications that drive our business processes. Key Responsibilities Application Development: Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable applications using Pega's Constellation architecture and UI components. Workflow and Case Management: Architect and build complex workflows, case life cycles, and decisioning logic to meet business requirements. Integration: Lead the design and implementation of integrations with external systems using a variety of protocols, including REST, SOAP, and messaging queues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce Pega best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions. Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize application performance by using Pega's diagnostic tools (Tracer, PAL, Log Analyzer) and implementing performance best practices. Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests and support system integration and user acceptance testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the application. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions. Required Qualifications & Skills Pega Certification: Must hold a valid Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification. Pega Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega application development. Constellation Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience building applications using the Pega Constellation design system and its components (Views, App Studio development). Integration Knowledge: Extensive experience with Pega integration capabilities, including creating and consuming REST and SOAP services, file listeners, and email listeners. Workflow Expertise: In-depth understanding and practical application of Pega case management, workflow design, and process automation. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Pega's underlying architecture, data structures, and rule resolution. Preferred Qualifications Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or CLSA certification. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript in the context of Pega development. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with Pega deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of database concepts (SQL, data modeling).
