Job Description Senior Developer: Java, Microservices, Event Processing, SQL Microservices, AKS. Databricks is nice to have but not required Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer / Senior Designer with strong expertise in Java, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, SQL, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable, cloud-native applications while working closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on development experience, a solid understanding of distributed systems, and the ability to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions in an Agile environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Design and develop enterprise applications using Java and Microservices architecture. • Build, deploy, and support containerized applications on AKS. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services. • Implement event-driven solutions and messaging-based architectures. • Write optimized SQL queries and support database design activities. • Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions. • Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, and security. • Support CI/CD pipelines, production deployments, and release activities. • Troubleshoot complex application issues and provide timely resolutions. • Follow engineering best practices, coding standards, and Agile methodologies. Experience Required • 8–12 years of overall IT experience. • 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience. • Strong experience in Microservices and cloud-native application development. • Experience working with Kubernetes and AKS deployments. • Experience designing scalable and high-performance enterprise applications. Candidates should be able to design scalable enterprise applications and work effectively with distributed systems and cross-functional teams; Databricks is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.
