You'll be involved in an important part of the development lifecycle for software delivery at Ford. Responsibilities will span across development of flashing features and support of our customers utilizing the tooling. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join the Ford Flashing Tool Team. Our team is responsible for architecting, building, and supporting the end-to-end flashing sequence that delivers software binaries to Electronic Control Units (ECUs). In this senior role, you will be a key technical leader at the vital intersection of software development and physical vehicle hardware. You will drive the architectural evolution of our flashing ecosystem, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure our engineering, manufacturing, and service teams have the robust and secure tooling needed to program next-generation vehicle architectures.

Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least 7 years of professional software development experience. Expert-level proficiency in Go and significant experience in system design and hardware-software interaction are required.
