Job summary

Design, develop, and manage Guidewire ClaimCenter integrations, features, and capabilities, including configuration and coding with Gosu, Guidewire tools, batches, plugins, and messaging components. Build business database applications and modern web APIs, and contribute to cloud-based development using Agile practices and associated tools.

Job details

· Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields, or equivalent experience. · 5+ years proven experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter Integration Development · Expertise in GOSU Language, configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, Guidewire Batch, and Guidewire predefined plugins. · Read code in other languages and reverse engineer products. · Agile software development, including the use of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc. · Domain knowledge on Property & Casualty Insurance · 5+ years of Guidewire development experience. · 5+ years of experience with coding Gosu Language · Expertise in the end-to-end design and development of business database applications. · Experience building modern web applications and designing Web APIs with REST/JSON. · In-depth understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development. Must have: · Guidewire Associate Certification. · Guidewire ClaimCenter / ContactManager experience. · Experience working on Guidewire Cloud · Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter. Proficiency in designing, developing, and managing Guidewire ClaimCenter features and capabilities. · Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Tools: TeamCity, Bitbucket, DataDog, Guidewire Home. · Understanding Guidewire Messaging Engine: Message Queues, Message Transports, Plugins. · 5+ years of experience with relational databases · Experience in implementing Cloud APIs/WebServices

What you’ll do

Design, develop, and manage Guidewire ClaimCenter integrations, features, and capabilities, including configuration and coding with Gosu, Guidewire tools, batches, plugins, and messaging components. Build business database applications and modern web APIs, and contribute to cloud-based development using Agile practices and associated tools.

Requirements

Requires at least five years of Guidewire and ClaimCenter development experience, including Gosu coding, Guidewire Cloud, relational databases, and cloud API or web service implementation. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a Guidewire Associate Certification and knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance.
