Position and Responsibilities
Cameco is embarking on a digital transformation and the technical services team is looking for a dynamic team member, driven by innovation, to leverage technology as we improve processes and gain efficiencies. Assistance is required to improve our estimating and scheduling processes and capabilities within our program systems. The team is looking for someone who is driven by innovation and are effective at leveraging technology in a projects environment.
Reporting to the sr. specialist, your core responsibilities in our team will be supporting Cameco's various projects in estimating, scheduling and program systems. You will be responsible for:
You will have the opportunity to work remote in this position. However, there may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
This is a temporary two-year position.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
Safety is a top priority at Cameco. Successful candidates for all positions at safety-sensitive sites or in safety-sensitive positions must take and pass a substance test (which includes marijuana testing) as a condition of employment. Marijuana remains in a user's system for about 30 days, so applicants who recently used marijuana recreationally should not expect to pass a substance test.
