Position and Responsibilities

Cameco's business technology services (BTS) department provides vital services to world-wide operations utilizing a variety of technologies to support key operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, team-player to join the records management group to support the electronic document records management (EDRM) initiatives across the organization. 

You will work within a team of technical experts and process owners to understand the needs of the business and match them with capabilities of the application to optimize the management of electronic documents while following the guidelines of the records management policies. You will design and configure an EDRM structure in SharePoint including content types, records retention schedules and metadata. Change management skills will be essential in order to support the business through the implementation of EDRM and to ensure adoption, utilization as well as continuous improvement.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or an applicable field
  • Five years of experience working with records management and at least three years with electronic document management system implementations 
  • Microsoft SharePoint certification
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered 
  • Experience working with the business to gather requirements and understand processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Assets:

  • Organizational change management experience and/or PROSCI certification
  • Collabware and Nintex forms experience
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Designer, and/or InfoPath
