Job Overview
Our small but mighty team is seeking a Director of Business Development to be directly responsible for increasing company revenue by identifying, nurturing and capturing profitable business opportunities.
Initially, this driven and hands-on business development role will focus on delivering sales by learning our business and establishing genuine relationships with our valued customers while also seeking to forge new connections aimed at growing the business.
Using the insight gained through this first-hand experience with our customer base, the role will be responsible for the ground-up development and execution of our go-to-market strategy including pricing, marketing, direct to farm and channel sales, and strategic partnerships. With a focus on establishing a sound business development strategy in collaboration with key members of our team, the Director of Business Development will also work towards building and eventually overseeing a team of skilled sales and marketing professionals.

This unique and high impact opportunity is ideal for someone who possesses prior Dairy Industry experience, a high degree of integrity and a proven track-record of building strong and sustainable relationships leading to the negotiating and successfully close of complex commercial contracts.

Work Conditions
While this position will initially be carried out remotely, eventually, when Covid restrictions ease, this role will require approximately 50% travel, nationally and internationally. This position involves off-site visits from time to time. This role requires schedule flexibility across time zones, including availability some nights and weekends to lend support to the CEO or other company locations.
Physical Requirements
This position requires sitting and standing, sometimes for extended periods of time, for meetings or work, operating a personal computer, visually inspecting documents and forms, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds.
