Deploy, integrate, and automate VMware technologies: The candidate must be able to install, configure, deploy different VMware products and platforms (e.g., VMC, VCF and cloud solutions) as well as to automate processes by taking into account the target architecture, infrastructure and security requirements. Also, when necessary, the candidate has to define and set up management indicators on various VMware platforms (e.g., dashboard, reports, notifications) in order to promote sound management of their environments.
Conduct proof of concept (POC): The candidate will develop and execute POC to test VMware solutions and technologies for use cases related to the customer's objectives and context. POC can be realized within the customer environment or PCD’s Innovation Center.
Provide guidance and advises: By participating to discovery sessions, the candidate must understand the business requirements and explains to customers the potential benefits of different technologies/solutions (business, technical and security) in the context of the customers.
Execute Knowledge transfer and Coaching: When required, the candidate has to execute knowledge transfer (it can take the form of work sessions (whiteboarding), coaching and shadowing. Both, knowledge transfer and documentation aim to give the customer autonomy in the use of their environments. The production of documentation as well as operating guides for VMware solutions is also carried out.
Participate to Design VMware architecture: The candidate could be involved with architects to participate to the design of VMware solutions.
Participate in the development and evolution of VMware practices: The candidate could be involved to develop/enhance new practice areas related to new VMware practices.
