As a quality assurance specialist , you act as a specialized quality consultant with the implementation team.

You play an active role in providing quality assurance for business solutions, working within a framework of action that may be limited in scope or highly complex.

You carry out activities that lead to the implementation and compliance of components in an integrated software quality approach. You work with the rest of the team to prepare and carry out all planned testing to ensure the quality of changes made to systems.

You support the other team members in their quality-related activities, in accordance with their role. You identify areas for improvement in the team's quality process, and work with developers and analysts in identifying and optimizing automation efforts. You help identify root causes and recommend solutions.

Main responsibilities

• Help develop the team's quality strategy.

• Help identify the tests required to ensure coverage based on the target test level and liaise with the other levels

• Help identify and develop test cases to be automated

• Help design and monitor test cases identified by the team, and input those under the position's responsibility in the product test records

• Prepare and provide the execution context for testing (environments, data), in collaboration with colleagues in other trades, and to support their team as needed

• Rigorously carry out the testing (manual and automated) assigned to them

• Help define the various scopes (stories, release, sprint, project, tests)

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree in information technology (IT)

• Work experience in IT quality assurance

• Proficiency in new Agile methodologies and DevOps

• Knowledge of test automation (an asset)
