WHO ARE WE 
Corning's Technology Center, Montreal (CTCM) is a team of developers that form the epicenter of software innovation to support the Corning Optical Communications division business.  
 
The sole responsibility of the CTCM is to discover, develop and deliver software solutions using leading-edge technologies. Technologies like Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computer, Big Data and Analytics.  
 
In a nutshell, working on the CTCM team means getting the chance to work on all the fun and innovative projects.  
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 
We are looking for a talented and motivated developer who can hit the ground running and help our development team. As a full member of the team, you will participate at all stages of software development: analysis, development of code and unit tests, etc. 
 
Will you work on other stuff? Yes! As new and exciting projects come up (and they will) that utilize new technologies, the opportunity to participate on those projects will arise. Web development is our current focus but we move quickly and new projects will come up regularly.  
 
WHO YOU ARE

  • Here is what we are looking for – if you have it, let's talk.
  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Software Development: (C# .NET);
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in front-end development by using a framework like React JS or Angular JS;
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases;
  • Strong OOP understanding; â–ª Experience developping Web applications using.NET Core will be considered as an asset;
  • Experience developping Web applications under a cloud environment like Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure will be considered as an asset.
  • Knowledge of a GIS platform such as ArcGIS will be considered as an asset.
  • Knowledge of cross-platform development considered as an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
  • Experience with Scrum Agile
