The Data and Analytics Administrative Department's mission is to develop, maintain and optimize data and analytics capacities in order to assist Desjardins Group's business sectors and support functions in serving members and clients. It serves as a catalyst for all data foundations, new approaches and governance related to supporting data leveraging.

As part of your duties, you'll have the opportunity to align business needs with members of the development team. You'll also have the opportunity to help devise the solution as part of a project for the in-transfer of a data counter developed on Azure.

We're looking for highly versatile candidates with a capacity for learning since you'll have the opportunity to obtain various certifications on the Azure platform and benefit from the experience of a seasoned expert in the field

You will participate in data analysis, testing strategy and data traceability.

Additional responsibilities

  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support testing phases, implementation strategies and quality assurance testing; inform decision-making; and monitor the application of management policies and practices. Analyze risks, prepare reports, propose solutions, make recommendations, and provide advice on how to implement recommendations
  • Prepare and recommend action plans and address issues in accordance with rules and parameters
  • Actively help develop, implement and update management policies, practices and standards.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Experience in data traceability and quality
  • Experience in data mapping
  • Experience in the detailed design of data architecture solutions (an asset)
