BUSINESS PROJECT LEADER

PROJECT MANAGEMENT JOBS:

Project leader: Ensures that the project is completed. Reporting to the promoter, the project leader directs business team employees while acting as the primary contact for project stakeholders. Above all, they make decisions in line with best practices in project management and by consulting key resources on their team and other stakeholders.

Project control officer: Acts as a resource person for project planning, monitoring and control. They analyze project data and provide professional advice to guide and support the project manager and their team to ensure the efficiency of projects, programs or groups of projects.

Advisor, project portfolio management: Determines the portfolio's business objectives according to strategic planning. With the project management office, ensures that all portfolio projects have a single promoter who is responsible and accountable for each project's benefits. They actively participate in the annual development of project portfolios with different business sectors and are responsible for reporting about the portfolio to different entities.

TARGET PROFILE

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• PMP, PMI-ACP certification or graduate degree in project management (MPM, specialized graduate diploma) (important asset)

• Meets minimum project management experience requirements in banking, insurance or a similar sector

• Knowledge of project management methodologies (waterfall and Agile) and IT

• Strong teamwork skills and drive

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to deal with uncertainty and complex situations
