Your artificial intelligence expertise in natural language processing and understanding, advanced analytics and learning, and constraint- and rule based system development.

Working with algorithms, you also have strong expertise in problem solving, optimization, parallel processes, local or remote communications and synchronization, development of shared services and component integration.

You are familiar with the full range of highly reusable complex application infrastructure developments. You are able to work with different skill levels on Windows and Unix platforms.

As Architect, IT Foundations Platform, Business Rule Management System (BRMS), you are acquainted with the information life cycle, systems management, virtualization, networking and network optimization, identity data security and transport. You work closely with the operations teams in resolving operational issues, delivering proofs of concept, and developing tools and infrastructure components.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and apply Business Rule Management System (BRMS) infrastructure implementation standards.
  • Develop and apply the governance model using a knowledge management representation approach.
  • Develop and apply the target architecture.
  • Support rule application development and determine appropriateness (ensuring stability in space and time complexities).
  • Define data repositories, versioning strategies and data ownership in relation to the organizational model.

Additional information

  • Develop platform architecture by defining feature enablers (epics).
  • Monitor the banking market and competition, and best market practices.
  • Allow a continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Develop nonâ€'functional criteria (security, robustness, performance, maintenance and scalability).
  • Lead and define emerging design elements.
  • Document requirements and align the various stakeholders for the architecture runway.
  • Lead technological feasibility, exploration (new product and new integration) and innovation taking into account expectations consistent with the solution architect's vision.
  • Support project design and implementation.
  • Produce and explain platform indicators.
  • Update indicators: performance, SLOs, usage and licences.
  • Get Desjardins stakeholders on board with the solution, including security, infrastructure, compliance, legal and technology.
  • Validate service offers for business projects.
  • Determine capacity allocation for enabler work.
  • Serve as owner of application architecture permanent documentation and other deliverables for the Architecture Review Committee (ARC).
  • Help develop the Campus curriculum and the training offer.
  • Produce Campus materials: depending on the type of course (development, detailed architecture, conceptual solution, process, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Experience as a developer, application architect and mentor
