As Application Analyst in the Majic squad, you contribute to IT efficiency and, more specifically, to projects involving IT sustainability, such as vulnerability management, strength and disaster recovery tests, updates to Genesys and NICE software components (technologies associated with client relations centres), or infrastructure projects affecting these components. You design, configure, administer, maintain and upgrade computer networks, management systems and database servers in accordance with the organization's needs. As part of the SME project, you work on integrating the Genesys platform, using SailPoint via an API.

You draw on your ability to work with technology and anticipate innovations to help develop, standardize and roll out medium- to large scale IT systems, programs and applications. You analyze client and partner needs and influence decisions on project-specific IT solutions and information systems. You plan, prioritize and coordinate work to stay on schedule and meet objectives. The nature of your files and projects calls for extensive knowledge of your area.

You make recommendations for project execution and help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in other fields. The core of your activities will essentially involve integration, via the development of the API between SailPoint and Genesys, for which the framework will already have been developed.

You serve as a systems resource person for your unit, the clients and various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field
• At least four years of relevant experience in IT
• Experience in Java development
• Experience in vulnerability analysis, problem management, and support
• Experience with client contact centre technology (an asset)

Specific knowledge

• Knowledge of client server development as well as development using Java, Linux and WebLogic servers
