SCOPE

Reporting to the Business Process Office (BPO) Manager, the incumbent provides day-to-day support for all financial information systems and all related  applications in the ecosystem for end-users. This role contributes to maintenance of the master data element, analyzing system issues, testing, and provides necessary data to ensure a positive end user experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage administration, security workflows and troubleshoot issues in SAP environment.
  • Manage level two user access requests and issues with existing system roles. Offer support towards the maintenance of system security user profiles in conjunction with the IITS unit.
  • Respond to daily user inquiries and provide end user support with the financial information systems. If level three support is required, gathers details and provides preliminary analysis to BPO and IITS for escalation.
  • Assist in the creation, updating and maintenance of system process and procedure documents.
  • Develop and ensure proper documentation for training material as related to the processes owned by the BPO office such as interfaces and master data elements. To be available in other related training activities in a support role as required where training initiatives will be led by unit process owners within Financial Services department.
  • Performs analysis and monitors financial systems (S4/Hana, Ariba and Concur) integration points. Works with end users, BPO analysts and IITS to ensure data validity and accuracy
  • Assist IITS and business process users in testing of systems fixes, patches, and updates.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end systems activities.
  • Act as a backup for the BPO team members.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or any related field from an accredited institution and two to four years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in supporting S4/Hana, Concur and/or Ariba and or other ERP Systems.
  • Knowledge in security and administration of SAP solutions is desirable.
  • Good knowledge (Intermediate level) of Word and Access, basic knowledge of PowerPoint and advanced knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of Visio is an asset.
  • Good knowledge (Level 4) of written and spoken English in order to give and understand complex explanations, hypothetical questions, or abstract ideas; basic knowledge (Level 3) of spoken French. Written French, an asset.

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines.
