Specific accountabilities
The incumbent is responsible for tasks related to cybersecurity. He or she analyzes problems or situations and provides expert advice in line with industry standards and rules, serving as a resource for architects, advisors and other cybersecurity analysts.

More specifically, the incumbent is responsible for identity and access management for Ivanhoe Cambridge. He or she manages requests for access to information systems and data and ensures that all controls are following legal and regulatory obligations. He or she is also responsible for the identity and awareness process that defines the lifecycle of an identity and associated access rights, as well as user and systems account access reviews and high privilege access reviews.

Main responsibilities include the following: 

  • Manage the identity and access lifecycle for users and systems, including high privilege access accounts;
  • Collaborate with application owners, business analysts, cybersecurity analysts or any member of a business units to ensure the integration and efficiency of authentication and authorization to Ivanhoe Cambridge's information systems and data.
  • Ensure that all controls related to IAM are in compliance with legal and regulatory obligations;
  • Responsible for access reviews to Ivanhoe Cambridge's information systems and data;
  • Produce documents and reports, ensuring the accuracy of the information they contain;
  • Identify, analyze and interpret the information needed for making decisions or enforcing current policies and practices;
  • Analyze risks; recommend and help implement appropriate action plans to address situations that arise, ensuring compliance with the Company's security standards and rules;
  • Help develop and improve policies/standards and ensure enforcement and compliance;
  • Represent the unit on project-specific working groups to ensure adherence to security standards and rules.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or any combination of experience or related studies;
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience with an interest in cybersecurity;
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory / Azure AD, is an asset;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Talent for analyzing and processing information;
  • Ability to influence and convince others and catalyze change;
  • Capacity to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment;
  • Significant experience in a team-focused, collaborative workplace;
  • Good judgment and tact in resolving delicate situations;
  • Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills;
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English.
