What our expectations are

By joining our Digital Technology team, you will be based in Longueuil and report to the Customer Service business applications manager. The solution architect is responsible to drive adoption of mobile solutions and Web application, define UI best practices and assist others in leveraging new technologies. By working closely with the enterprise architecture group, you will help define balance between leveraging current technologies and adapting new tools and solutions. You will maintain technical currency through the development of prototypes and POCs as appropriate.

What your day to day will look like

• Work closely with Solution architects, SAP competency center and other skilled professionals.
• Plan, manage and perform the activities related to the detailed analysis and design of Web/Mobile solutions.
• Propose business solutions and demonstrate the efficiency of these solutions to meet business needs.
• Provide consultative guidance on development options as well as project estimates.
• Identify and execute improvement opportunities related to our mobile and web applications leveraging best practices.
• Understand the technical integration points with our major back ends (SAP, MS Dynamics, SharePoint, etc.) and ensure their integration with newly developed solutions.
• Participate in the Implementation of DevOps tools and processes (Cl, CD, automated testing, quality assurance, application security & microservices.
• Participate in incident troubleshooting.

The tools you need to be successful

Must haves

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in design, web development (Full Stack) and technical support for business applications 
• Knowledge of business systems integration (e.g.: CRM) and DevOps tools
• Experience integrating to SAP
• Familiar with standards (ITIL)
• Passion for new technologies
• Strong sense of leadership, autonomy and good communication
• Customer-oriented and business process optimization focused
• Ability to understand business requirements and transform them into innovative technological solutions

Assets

• Bilingual - French and English (spoken and written)
• Mobile development experience
• TOGAF certification
• Experience with SAP S4 HANA
