What our expectations are

By joining our IT team, you will be based in Longueuil and report to the DT (Digital Technology) Operations Manager. The incumbent is responsible to find and propose innovative business process automation solutions. You will ensure the leveraging of best practices and current technologies & functionality within the PWC applications architecture to meet business needs.

What your day to day will look like

  • Plan, manage and perform the activities related to detailed analysis and design of Digital Technology solutions through the SAP PP module.
  • Lead specific SAP Production related projects.
  • Manage or execute specific project deliverables and scope to ensure project schedules & timelines are respected.
  • Breakdown the business requirements into comprehensive deliverables and estimate the work effort required to complete them.
  • Consultation to end-user to define and develop specifications for new or modified technological tools and solutions.
  • Articulate proposed solutions in business terms and demonstrate solution effectiveness in meeting business needs.
  • Ensure SAP PP integration with other SAP modules as well as with other SAP Platforms and Clouds solutions.
  • Ensure that adequate knowledge transfer has happened from the project development team to the post go-live support team.
  • Identify, evaluate and implement continuous business improvement opportunities that are enabled by SAP functionality and related bolt-on applications to promote best practices and drive business benefits.
  • Create/develop documentation related to projects, flow-charts, activity profiles and scripts, configuration specifications and other related documentation.
  • Work in a mufti-vendor environment and oversee vendor activities.

The tools you need to be successful

Must haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • SAP PP specialist with experience implementing SAP Operations solutions
  • Proficiency in business process design and SAP ECC configuration
  • Strong communicator with good facilitation abilities
  • Open-minded, flexible approach to considering solution options/alternatives

Assets

  • Bilingual (English and French, spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of other SAP systems (APO, Cloud solutions, others)
  • SAP certification
  • Experience with SoH and/or S4 Hana definitely
  • Knowledge of other SAP modules like QM
  • Familiarity with Export Compliance regulations
  • Familiarity with Web technology, SAP portal, PI, Web industry standards
  • Project Management skill set
  • Understanding of programming languages and debugging tools in ABAP
